Gladeville UMC Building Use Policy
Due to the increased number of events that are being scheduled at the church (especially non-member events), the Trustees have decided to slightly change the procedure for reserving the church. Cindy Givens will serve as Event Coordinator for the church and building use by members and non-members will need to be scheduled with her.
If you have questions about possible availability of a certain date during church office hours, our church secretary, Virginia Dawson, will still be glad to assist by letting you know if certain dates are available. She will then take your request and contact information and forward this to Cindy for her to get in touch with you and confirm your building reservation. Virginia will have a church calendar coordinated with Cindy so if you need to know the day and time of church events, she will have that information.
Our requests for non-member events have increased significantly since our new building has been finished and Cindy will be working closely with those individuals to insure our Building Use Guidelines are followed and that the event, and those participating in it, are respectful to our church facility. She will also be working to insure that church events and church member events always retain first priority on the schedule.
