What to Expect When You visit on Sunday

Worship Services
There are two Sunday morning worship services available at Gladeville United Methodist Church.

Praise & Worship Service - 8:15 a.m.
The services is held in our new Worship Center and features praise and worship music led by our praise team, an ensemble of vocalists and musicians playing guitars, drums, keyboards, and more. This service is informal and a wonderful time of fellowship.

Traditional Worship - 10:30 a.m.
This service provides a more conventional worship experience featuring congregational hymns, music provided by the Gladeville UMC Sanctuary Choir and sermon by Rev. Walker. While the service is more traditional, the atmosphere remains informal in nature where you will be welcomed as you are. Children's Church and a Nursery are provided. The traditional service is held in our Sanctuary.

Parking
Visitor parking spaces are available in the front of the church. A friendly welcome person will be standing at the door at both services to answer any questions you might have.

Sunday School
Sunday School classes are provided for people of all ages at 9:30 a.m. You can learn more by click on Sunday School in the menu to the left.

Communion Services
Sunday mornings at both services, the first Sunday of the month. The communion table of the United Methodist Church is an open table. You do not have to be a member of the church to partake. The invitation to the table is an invitation to a personal and lasting relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcomed at the table. This includes persons of any age.

Children
The Children's Ministry at Gladeville UMC offers programs for children from three years old though fifth grade. A children's bulletin is available for all children attending the Sunday morning worship services & quiet bags are available during the Praise & Worship service. Our traditional service includes the Kids Of the Kingdom for all children and they are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a children's sermon and prayer. After this time most children exit the sanctuary to attend Children's Church (kindergarten through 5th grade).
