Breakfast With Santa

Men’s Ministry Breakfast with Santa

Our annual church wide Country Ham Breakfast, sponsored by the Men’s Ministry, will be on Saturday, December 9th at 8:30am. Following the breakfast, we will have a devotional brought to us by Lt. Scott Moore with the Wilson County Sherriff’s Dept. Scott grew up in our church and is the nephew of Ed & Joyce Bland and Jimmy & Sheree Bland. After the devotional, we will have our yearly visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus. The kids will have an opportunity to talk to them & have their parents take a picture of them if they would like. If you would like, please bring an unwrapped toy to place under the tree for a needy child. Hope you will plan to attend for a good time of food, fellowship and fun.

This worship experience is a fun filled time with praise music, a game, small groups, and a lesson. After Kids Worship we move into different stations, which include Art, Crafts, Games, or a missional opportunity. We pack a lot into our hour together! Parents, please check out our adult Bible Studies and make it a family night.

Youth aged persons in grades 5-12 also begin in the Sanctuary with worship. We sing, compete in the game, and break out to the youth room for our lesson and night activity.

It’s a great night, filled with lots of energy and focus on Jesus. If you have any questions about how you could be involved or if you need more explanation, please contact Jenny Lamb our Director of Children, Youth and Families at or call the church office at (615) 444-0566.

New “D” Group

Joyful Noise

GUMC Family,

The Children’s Church program will be structured around presenting Bible teachings and singing. Some quick details if you decide to send you kid(s) to Children’s Church:

– Children’s Church will be held every Sunday during the 10:15am.

– For those interested in having their children participate in Children’s Church , will come forward during the Children’s Blessing and then leave the sanctuary with the Children’s Church leaders.

 – The children will be returned to the sanctuary at the end of service during the closing song.

Remember that kids are ALWAYS welcome in our services and this is an alternative if this is something that would benefit your family.

Joyful Noise Children’s Church is being revamped starting Promotion Sunday, August 6th during the 10:15 Intersect Service. Ages 3 years old through Kindergarten can join us for fun, music, and a Bible lesson with Jesse
